Ready for Stem Walls!

We're pouring stem walls tomorrow! The big plastic sheets are providing insulation for the curing process.

Finished Crawl Space and Form Setting

The crawl space is finished! Looks nice and deep...plumbers should appreciated that and maybe even cut you some slack on the plumbing bid! It took a few days longer than expected because the back end of the lot had to be built up a bit. Framers are still scheduled to be out on Monday the 28th. Looking good!

The Pit

Alas the money pit! It's pently deep too and will be finished today. The five foot crawl space is deep enough to give the plumbers room to move fast. On Monday the forms will be set and the stem walls poured. The Monday after Christmas our framing crew from Idaho will be here to frame it. The two man crew had our home in Lamesa, Texas framed in two weeks and they are scheduled to do the same here.

The epic ground breaking! This is a long time coming!

It's not much to look at, but after years of struggle and work it's awsome to see the building underway.
